This is how I ’do (Du)bai’!

Dubai my family

I posted an edited video of my adventures in Dubai, but since it was complete as it was, I decided to add a few remarks here in my blog.

This was the very first footage I made, when it occurred to me to share my adventures with you guys, those aspects of my life that may be interesting for you.

Places and adventures from my point of view, which might make you want to see and experience it yourselves.

DUBAI

It used to be an inaccessible travel destination financially, and visiting there used to be considered a great loss of prestige for the ladies. 🙂

We gave this trip as a birthday present for my dad. We prefer presenting each other with experiences rather than objects.

Dubai view

Today it is no. 1 on a bucket list, and since it is a destination for WizzAir, it is now an easily affordable holiday spot.

This bustling city has an interesting cultural life, matchless buildings, pleasantly warm and clean beaches, great climate, great hospitality, and last but not least it can become a unique shopping tour.

This is a place where the Indian cab driver visited Budapest earlier than Dubai, where the subway rises high above the city, where men have the right to an allowance just because they are men, and where the most wonderful cloths and make-up of women are covered by their burqa.

Dubai morning

If you choose Dubai as your destination, you first have to decide where you want to stay, near the beachfront or downtown. Since you can find all price ranges, it is really a matter of deciding whether you prefer the bustle of the city or a more peaceful beachfront.

Places you have to see:

The Burj al Arab („Tower of the Arabs”) located on the beach is a luxury hotel (the deck level pool of which was built in Scandinavia and transported here in one piece) and belongs to the Jumeirah hotel chain, and since we stayed in one of the hotels of Jumeirah, we managed to get in here too. The Wild Wazi waterpark is also located in the area of the same hotel chain, and they are also pulling up another hotel and amusement park in the middle of the sea, right next to Burj al Arab. The palm shaped artificial island is practically ready, so Dubai, already well-known for its spectacular constructions, needed a new challenge.

Dubai camel

The most popular sight in the city is Burj Khalifa of course, with its 828 m height and 163 storeys, dinner first on one of the terraces, watching the spectacular music fountain meanwhile, then some shopping in the mall where all our favourites such as Victoria Secret and Sephora cosmetics shop can be found, with an outstanding variety of stuff, it is a must for all ladies. 🙂

Dubai sea

The video and this blog is just an appetizer. If you liked it, add Dubai to your bucket list! 🙂
